Hi,
It is currently impossible to add a folder to a Release in Trimble Connect. You can only directly add files to the Release.
This is such a waste of an awesome feature. None of my clients want to receive Releases as an unorganized group of files. They would rather have seperate folders for Shop Drawings, E-Drawings, Data, Spreadsheets etc.
I've been trying to use the Release tool in another way - I would first zip all the files in organized folders and then upload the zip and add it to the Release. This way, the Release tool would recognize the .zip as a file, not folder. The problem with this approach, however, is that I cannot attach any drawings from the .zip file to objects in the Trimble Connect model.
Could you please add the possibility of adding a folder from the Explorer to a Release instead of having the option to only add files?
Thank you
