We have tracked the issue down to the following
1) Most of the issues seem to have been caused by people who had TBC 5.6 installed have used the Patch Update. The Patch update seems to screw up Trimble ID in some way so that when it tries to sign in it does not hit the Trimble ID web page (from Support - Options - External Services - Profiles) - click Sign In and you will see a little blue whirly for a second or two and then nothing. This is a bug in the Patch Update I believe,
The fix is to do the following
1) Download the TBC Offline Installation package for 5.60.10 from the Trimble Website at the link below
2) Close all instances of TBC
3) Deinstall TBC using Control Panel - Programs and Features - Uninstall
4) Install the 5.60.10 Full Install Package
5) Restart TBC
6) Go to Support - Options - External Services - Profiles and set up a Trimble Identity Profile. Click Sign In and now it should hit the Trimble ID Site - Sign In and you should be good to go again.
I don't know why the patch screws this up but it appears to do so and this solution has worked for everyone I have done it with since the Patch came out
This is not specifically a Rockpile Solutions Issue - it is a Trimble ID / TBC Issue caused by the Patch.
I also recommend the Full Offline Installer vs the Online Installer - we have seen issues caused by the Online Installer also.
If you have any issues getting this working please email
Support@RockpileSolutions.com to generate a support ticket and one of the RPS Team will connect with you to resolve

Subject: Suddenly i cant log in with my TID (Trimble Identity)??!!
I'm experiencing this as well, last couple days. I have mine configured to login automatically, and yesterday out of the blue I lost the ability to use my Rockpile macros because it said I wasn't signed in. And it wouldn't successfully sign in.
Found a couple articles on Rockpile but they're not super recent.
First one was by Alan Sharp in Sept '20, and recommends clearing some cache files (apparently they can become corrupted) and restarting TBC:
https://community.myrockpile.com/t/i-cannot-log-in-to-trimble-id-from-start-page-or-external-services-profiles/466
The second one is more recent, by Shane Odenbach in Sept '21 relating how changes on the Trimble side of things broke the Rockpile authentication process, and offering an alternative way to sign in. I would think this has been resolved since it's a few months old already.
https://community.myrockpile.com/t/support-bulletin-accessing-myrockpile-library-without-trimble-id/1211
Neither article's guidance was able to cure my case, but I linked them here in case they could be helpful to others coming here with this issue.
Unfortunately I'm too busy at present to afford the downtime to clean re-install TBC, so I shall have to suffer through for a bit.

A couple of days ago i realized that i cant log in with the button in the top right corner. It just says "Sign in to Trimble connect 0%" and nothing more happens. I have also tried to delete the folders under isolatedstorage but that did not help at all. This problem just occured, i have not made any changes at all. what can i do??
