Lat Long field length limit?

    I get the following error when uploading a shape file. Is there a limit on character length in lat long fields?:

    Failed
    ERROR: XX000: transform: couldn't project point (3.071e+06 1.29068e+06 0): latitude or longitude exceeded limits (-14). Attempting to retry...
