About this release

Connect for Mobile v2.17 is now available in App Stores. 

Improvements

Launch Navisworks files

You will now be able to launch .nwd, .nwc files in the Mobile app’s 3D Viewer

Option to capture detailed logs

It will now be possible for you to capture detailed logs. These logs will help us get more details for investigation.

There is no change in the process to send logs. You can click on “Support” and send logs as usual.

Bug fixes

1. Switch from Multiple actions option to Normal actions disabled Color Panel. This is now fixed.
2. From the Quick access model launch, the Status actions color panel wasn't appearing. This is fixed too.

Known limitations

• View parity issues exist between Mobile and Browser apps (for both 2D , 3D views) . We will address these in future releases.
• Initial sync up time for projects loading needs improvement
• Views created by hiding layers from multiple models cause rendering slowness and app crashes. We have prioritized this. 
• Editing measurements on Mobile device screen is very tough. We will resolve this in future releases.
• Very heavy views (volume > 2GB) take time to load and may become non-interactive. Similarly very heavy 3D models (> 300,000 model elements) or those with very complex geometries cause app crashes or they may load and subsequently become non-interactive. We are exploring how these issues can be resolved.
