 ADDING POINT CLOUDS TO TRIMBLE CONNECT WITH URL

Hi,

Are there any basic instructions for adding a Point Cloud to Trimble Connect with a URL. I have managed to add/share Point Clouds within Trimble Connect for Windows by copying the converted potree database files to the Project Explorer, but cannot add a Point Cloud via a URL.

I have viewed a few threads here and on the Tekla Help Pages/Discussion Forum, but can find nothing definitive. I have seen it noted that files should be hosted on a web server, but I have no experience of this.

If anybody can assist me with some basic instructions it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Marco,

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I have currently converted the Point Cloud Files using Point Cloud Manager, does this make any difference when adding to TC via a URL (in so much that they have not been converted using Potree 1.6)?
