No kidding, been saying this forever. Makes it even worse that TBC does not handle snaps very well. It's simple things like this that have been suggested many times but never get implemented that could really increase productivity and make TBC enjoyable to use. Sure it's just a few clicks... Xs the hundreds of times you do it in a week. Things like this, the unbelievably slow layer manager and many others I've given up hope on getting fixed. -You just go pay a 3rd party a subscription fee if you want simple features that work properly.-

@Charlie Sorg This suggestion, while helpful, does not address the "toggle snap" question raised and does nothing more then bring up the snap settings box.
Is there functionality in TBC to quickly and simply toggle all of the running snaps on and off with a single press? If not then it should be considered as it would certainly be helpful. (i.e. holding "x" while mouse'ing disables all running snaps)

I see. To define a shortcut for that, choose Snap Mode as the command and choose any shortcut in the drop down menu you like. Currently in v5.81, F3 is assigned to CAD Command Line by default, but you can change it to another shortcut (or set to "None") and choose F3 for Snap Mode if that's your preference.

well its three clicks actually, one to open the window, one to uncheck, and one to close. very annoying when autocad just has the f3 function set to toggle it off and on. i turn off and on snaps alot because the grips get annoying popping up all over the place.

Hi Matt,
Something shorter than clicking "Snap" on the bottom bar? Can you help me understand why that doesn't work for you?

I know I'm jumping in late here, but it drives me nuts that there is no shortcut to turn on and off snaps. Unless I am wrong.

Did you know that Keyboard Shortcuts are stored with your Custom Menu Configuration (Support - Customize Menus - Export / Import). This means that if you want to create and save all of your shortcuts you should
- Import your Custom Menu
- Add all of your Shortcuts ti your system
- Export your Custom Menu
Now when you load your Custom Menus you will also load your Custom Keyboard Shortcuts.
If you are interested in having us create more Keyboard Shortcuts in the system, please provide me with your list of Commands that you have shortcuts assigned to and what those shortcut key combos are. You can generate an Excel Report of your current setup from the Define Command Shortcuts command and post it to your responses here.
I will take a look through what we get back and see if there are common themes / settings etc. and if Yes I will try to get some of those commands set to the commonest values - or at worst will come back to you all with some suggestions that you can look at.
