Feature Request - Plot Color Table

Would it be possible to add a feature similar to AutoCAD's pen table? Or at least add column to layer manager for "Plot Color" - so when creating plans/exhibits we do not have to change the color of everything?

We are just wrapping up a TML that allows you to create override colors, linestyles and lineweights for a view filter that allows you to change the colors of selected objects that have the By Layer property - the tool will provide the ability to create the overrides that you are asking for i believe

Thanks Alan - that sounds like it would work for what I'm trying to accomplish. Will it be a free TML?

This will be a Rockpile Licensed TML

Alan - is this TML available for purchase? I can't seem to find it on the Rockpile website/TMLstatus

Nevermind, just found it. I would have thought this would be in the "Data Prep" toolbox, not modeling.

The way we structured the toolboxes is the following

Data Prep - All Tools for Importing, Cleaning, Editing and Elevating Data to prepare it for the Modeling Process

Modeling - All Tools for Modeling and Manipulating Surfaces, Corridors, Sections, as well as all tools for Output (Reporting, Drafting/Drawing Creation, Plotting etc.)

Tool Shed - System Tools plus tools that are not really in the Data Prep or Modeling Categories or specialist tools for e.g. Drilling or Regional Needs (like MX Export)

We figured that while we do not have so many tools for drawing creation and reporting that those can live in Modeling for the time being until such time that we have so many tools that we need another menu and need to break the toolboxes up some more. I envision Toolboxes for Drafting / Plotting and Deliverables as well as for Takeoff and Corridors in the future as we grow the library of commands.

We also figured that the usual work process flow is as follows

Data Prep - Modeling - Reporting / Takeoff - Output Deliverable Drawings and we saw that we had a lot of Data Prep Tools and a lot of Modeling Tools but not so many Reporting and Output Tools at this time - so we bundled those with Modeling for the time being.
