Model size limits for TCM

  • 1.  Model size limits for TCM

    I am wondering if there is a limit to model size that TCM can handle.

     

    We are trying to view rebar IFC's that are approx 6-10mb in size. These are viewable in TCW and TCD although this takes a little time to process. The mobile application however just doesn't seem able to process these files.

     

    Anyone have an answer?

    Hi Paul,

    We have tested files upto 180 MB in size and they seem to load well in both the old and new 3D viewers. 

    The new model viewer can load even larger files, though its in Beta. 

    Could you please share the ifc files to our Support team (connect-support@trimble.com). We will investigate. There could be other factors that might be impacting the model loading.
