I am keen to understand if any users out there have utilised the FME transformer called Trimble Connect Connector. This in theory allows you to connect with Trimble Connect through a web connection and download your data utilising the FME software for processing within you GIS system etc.. My company uses the Trimble Connect application to capture field GPS data which is then downloaded manually from the Trimble Connect site and processed and loaded into our enterprise GIS system. Using FME would allow the ability for this portion to be automated.
At the moment I cannot figure out how the Trimble connector fits into a FME workbench, so am hoping anyone involved with the Trimble Connect platform or any users out there familiar with FME maybe able to shed some light on this
