Hello all,
Working in the central PA yesterday (05/13), we had one of two DA-2 units lose satellite coverage midday, drop the connection and then refuse to pair with the iOs 15 phone. I worked with the tech after hours and saw no resolution. This morning I unwrapped a shiny new DA-2 for the field team. Of course, the problem child from yesterday seems to be working fine now. I thought it was either the field tech or the unit, but maybe, it was something in the system supporting Pennsylvania.

Hi Mary,
It may be that the pairing between the DA2 and the iPad has become corrupted in some way. I would reset the DA2 (10 second press on the button until you see from the LED that it is reset), then go to your iPad Bluetooth settings, find the entry for the DA2 and forget it. You should then be able to re-pair.

I have never had a problem connecting to my DA2 until today. A connection failure message of "Failed to connect to Trimble DA2" continues to show on my iPad screen when I attempt to connect. Would anyone have any idea why I have encountered this and how to correct it?
