Trimble Connect 1.32.0.827 installation fails – missing plugin files

    Hi,

    I'm trying to install Trimble Connect for Windows 1.32.0.827 x64, but the installation stops during the prerequisite/plugin installation.

    The failure occurs on: trimbleconnect-stepigesplugin-3.27_x64 and the installer shows the following message:

    The files for installation requirement trimbleconnect-stepigesplugin-3.27_x64 could not be found. The installation will now stop. This is probably due to a failed or canceled download.

    Because of this, the installation cannot continue. Also want to clarify that Trimble Connect, or any other Trimble software, has never been installed on this PC before, so this does not appear to be related to a previous installation.

    I found an older thread from 2024 describing a similar issue, but since this is happening with the current installer/version, I wanted to check whether there is an updated solution or workaround.

    Has anyone experienced this with version 1.32.0.827?
