So a couple of things...
1. When you create a Site (and subsequent designs) using TBC it will generate copies of the files that live in your pc. (inside of TBC select the Support Ribbon Tab, choose Options/file paths or project management to see where it is sending the files if not the same as the attached picture. See ex 01
2. You can either delete or rename these files also, this is a way around the auto creation of versions. (Say you forget to select a line or point for a design, you don't want the field to think your version 02 is actually version 03. So you can go in there and remove version 02 and then edit the design in TBC and publish again.
3. Yes, you can get the entirety of an old or existing design into a new TBC file that does not contain that information. However, you can also end up with a lot of duplicate info by doing this, so proceed methodically. In that same design folder in ex 01 you can drag and drop the designs into your new TBC file. First you will want navigate to your Works Manager Ribbon/Project/choose your WM Account (it may be on "off line") see ex 02. Second, after you choose your project, you will want to clear all of the red by "adopting" from works manager. Third begin creating designs, since you delete or renamed the originals it will start you off on v01.
Once you have the project assigned to the new TBC file, you will be able to right click on that project to find all the relevant works manager commands...

Subject: WM designs into TBC?
hey guys,
I had a corrupt TBC project and had to rebuild a new one. in doing so I've reconnected to my WM project inside the new TBC project.
is there a way I can get my old WM design into the new TBC? I tried creating a design with the same name as an old design to overwrite but it won't let me because I'm in a different TBC.
this has happened to be before, and I feel like the WM designs should be importable. or at least be overwritten (with a warning).
please let me know if there is a workflow I'm missing.
thanks
