There is a new version of the Trimble Connect 3D Viewer available at  https://3d.connect.trimble.com. Version identifier for this release is: 1.0.88. This release note also covers releases 1.0.82 (May 15) and 1.0.84 (May 19). 

 

To load the new version to your browser, click the refresh link when the version update message is displayed.

 

 

This version update contains new features:

 

  • Content Browser column presets are now saved to the cloud (instead of the local browser cache) and can be shared with other project members by selecting the “Share with project members” option:

 

 

This version update contains fixes and improvements:

 

  • The clash sets panel now allows selecting the model version to be used in the check:
  • Property Set Manager: access control details are now displayed in the property set details panel. Also, access control can be set for a property set individually by clicking the Manage access control link:
  • Starting a clash check for a model is not possible until the model assimilation has been completed (the model must be viewable in the Models panel first)
  • Now when only DWG models are loaded and the user switches to the top view from the camera presets toolbar, the “Pan” camera control mode is automatically selected (instead of rotate)
  • Object selection menu was not working properly in Edge browser
  • Colors in some views were incorrect after loading in a .skp file
  • Zoom function was not working on a specific IFC model
  • File detail panel showed incorrect version number in some cases
  • Workspace API: When icons were added with non-unique ids, the icon removal misbehaved
  • Workspace API: "Show only selected objects" showed more than expected
  • Workspace API: getObjects API was not giving objects in the first call
  • Workspace API: setCamera API was not doing animation
  • Workspace API: There was slowness on hiding or showing objects
  • Workspace API: Added ability to set a complete model placement
  • The following items were fixed in the 1.0.84 release:
    • Sharing a clash link opened the legacy 3D viewer
    • Content browser did not update organizer group name
    • SkyBox was rotated by 90 degree with the Oculus Quest device
    • Workspace API: Operation timeouts occurred
    • Workspace API: Implemented the addSectionPlane method
  • The following items were fixed in the 1.0.82 release:
    • Fixed an Issue with assigning view to a ToDo
