Trimble Connect Desktop


Trimble Connect can show grids if they are available in models. You can use grids for navigating in the 3D view and you can measure distances from grid lines. You can select which grids are visible.
To see the grids more clearly and to be able to pick them, set the view transparency.

Hide grids in the selected model
In the Models list , click . To show the grids again, click .

Hide all grids in the 3D view
Click .To show the grids again, click .

Show grid elevations

  1. Click the arrow .
  2. Click the grid whose grid elevation you want to show.
  3. Select the check box of the wanted grid elevation.

Zoom in on a grid line

  1. Move the pointer over a point where you want to zoom in on a grid line.
    The grid line is highlighted.
  2. Right-click and select Zoom here.

Go to a grid line
You can use the Go to command to go to the selected point on the grid line and align the view parallel to the grid plane. The command is not available in orthogonal mode.

  1. Move the pointer over a point where you want to go to.
    The grid line is highlighted.
  2. Right-click and select Go to.
    You can use the Go to command to go to a grid intersection.

Turn a view perpendicular to a grid plane
Right-click the grid and select Plane view from the pop-up menu.
