We have just confirmed the dates for the TBC Power User Group 1 for 2019. The event as per last years September Event will be held at the ALOFT Hotel in Broomfield, CO from 8:00 am to 5:00pm on Weds April 17th and Thurs April 18th. There will also be a Dealer Only day held at the Trimble Westminster facility on Tuesday April 16th.
The focus of this first Power User Group for 2019 will be
- What's New or Coming Up Shortly in TBC (incl. Macros, New Features, Functions, Improvements etc.)
- Power Corridors Training (Initial Planned Subjects) (If you have special requests let me know)
- MSE and Gabian Wall Modeling
- Conditional Instructions
- Divided Highway, Superelevations, Rollovers
- Ramp and Intersection Modeling (Combining Site and Corridor Modeling Techniques for best results)
- Variable Sidelsopes and Slope / Bench Modeling
- Road Modeling Strategy / Playlist
- Tips and Tricks / Rapid Fire Q & A
In addition our colleagues from Propeller Aero will be hosting an evening training on Trimble Stratus on the Wednesday Evening between 6:00 and 8:30pm and are providing Pizza and drinks at the start of the session from 6:00 to 6:30pm. The Propeller team will also be participating in the afternoon session at the Dealer Only Day as well as in the Thursday Morning Session of the training.
If interested in attending, please contact your SITECH dealer and have them reserve you a spot. Places are reserved on a first come first served basis. Cost for the 2 days training will be $595 including lunch. SITECH Dealers should place Purchase Orders for the training on Trimble using Part Number 234000-51 "Training - Software (PUG 2019) for $595 minus their discount.
Hotel rooms are available at the ALOFT Hotel using the Trimble Corporate Rate (Rate Code TMB) for $105 / night incl. breakfast, details will also follow shortly.
If attending, plan to arrive on Tuesday 16th April in the evening and leave late Thursday 18th or early Friday 19th April.
The TBC Sales Team, Product Managers and representatives of the development team will all be present to give you networking opportunities and the chance to get questions answered or ideas for future products heard.
This training is focused on users that already understand TBC and are looking to get into more detail and more complex modeling and estimating scenarios relating to Road / Linear project construction. The material covered will be new for all PUG attendees, however of course there will be some overlap from previous classes. This training is not a "basic" or "new user" training event, for that type of training please contact your local SITECH.
