  • Issue with Remote Access

    Status: In Progress

    We have resolved the cache issue that was causing problems for remote access of devices. The majority of the devices are now working fine. However, a few devices are still reporting the wrong status, and we are investigating the root cause to fix it as soon as possible.

    A fix has been provided for the issue with Remote Access and we are continually monitoring it.

    Dear WorksManager users,

    We have identified a caching issue with the Remote Access feature, which is causing problems for users trying to connect to the device from the WM UI. Our team is working on resolving this issue.

  • Upcoming WorksManager Maintenance - Sunday, March 24th

    Hello TBC + WorksManager users, The WorksManager team has a maintenance activity scheduled for this coming Sunday, 24th March.   • TBC v2023.11 Patch has been released!

    We are pleased to announce that the Trimble Business Center 2023.11 patch is now available. 

    See the Read Me for details about the enhancements and bug fixes it includes. 

    You can update to the new version by selecting Support > Check for Updates in the program or by downloading from the TBC Geospatial Downloads page or the Civil Construction Software Downloads page.

  • Issue with Design synchronization

    Status: Complete

    Incident Update: 16 Jan, 10:50 AM UTC: Rerun of the jobs are completed successfully. 

    Issue description:  We had an outage with Design synchronization to TCC from 4.30 AM UTC to 5.30 AM UTC. There were a few design jobs that failed, and we are currently in the process of rerunning the jobs. We will keep you updated on the status.

  • Trimble Catalyst DA2 GNSS receiver firmware version 1.59

    Firmware version 1.59 is now available for users of the Trimble Catalyst DA2 GNSS receiver.  This release includes bug fixes and performance improvements. All users are encouraged to update to the latest firmware version.

    The update can be downloaded and installed using the Trimble Mobile Manager app on either Android and iOS.

  • TBC 2023.10 Macros Release

    Macro Developers

    Macros SDK release for 2023.10 is available. Find the download link below or in the "Software Development Kit (SDK)" dropdown

    The Visual Studio 2019 Project Template (TbcMacros) should also be updated with the latest changes. 

    Two major changes this last release within the project template was the addition of the "Trimble.Sdk.UI" project reference and migration of a number of lower-level controls (InputMethod, MousePosition, UIEventArgs, etc.) to the "Trimble.Sdk.UI" from "Trimble.Sdk.Interfaces.UI".

  • Designs / Calibration files not syncing

    We request the users to re-upload the calibration file again to get the latest design version if they have been impacted by this issue. A data fix is not currently possible.

    Hello TBC users! We are pleased to announce that Trimble Business Center (TBC) version 5.90.1 Patch is now available for download. See the Read Me for details.

    Version update: Trimble Business Center version 5.90.1 now available

    You can update to the new TBC version 5.90.1 by clicking the Check for Updates link located above this News frame (or by selecting Support > License > Check for Updates).
    This updated version of Trimble Business Center is available to:
    ·        Perpetual license users whose current warranty expiration date is May 1, 2023 or later. (If your perpetual license warranty expires prior to this date and you proceed with the installation, licensed features will not be available.)
    ·        Subscription license users whose subscription is currently active.
    If necessary, you can contact your local Trimble Distribution Partner to purchase a warranty extension or renew your subscription. In the TBC ribbon, select Support > License Manager to view your warranty or subscription expiration date.

  • Project map displays devices in gray

    Status: Resolved

    Project Map displays all devices as gray icons. ‘Last reported’ values in the account > devices page do not refresh.

    The new messages are getting procesed successfully, as expected. Account > devices page show refreshed values.

  • Devices are inconsistent in the map view

    Status: Resolved


    Update:
    It was broken due to the fix made on the Design page to display the last report for the devices, as map and design pages are interrelated. This is now fixed.

    Devices are now shown in the Map view. It does work while the page is refreshed and disappears again. Clicking the device icons in the map view does not show the device details panel. The team is actively analyzing the issue. We will keep this page updated once the problem is resolved. Regret inconvenience.

  • Critical bugfix for Novapoint Geosuite Pilegroup

    Regards version 2020.0.8

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

     The EI and EA values for 'Steel core' piles were not correct in the 'Geosuite' database. The 'xx/xxx Core' cross-section had values for an 'xx/xxx Core and pile' cross-section and vice versa. The database is now updated with the correct values BUT a saved calculation will not be updated automatically. You have to update this manually and the easiest way to do this is by using the 'Use from database' function and selecting the same cross-section again.

  • Slowness in accessing TCC and IBSS

    Status: Closed

    [Update July 11, 1 PM GMT]: 

    We were monitoring the IBSS service for last few days since the latest issue after restarting the database with upgrades. We do not see any notable failure since then and it looks IBSS is working as expected.

    Description: We are experiencing slowness in accessing TCC during peak hours (12:30 to 1:30 UTC). TCC and IBSS applications are impacted due to this. The team is actively analyzing the issue. We will keep this page updated once the problem is resolved.  Regret inconvenience.

  • Designs from TBC/ WorksManager don’t reach field devices

    Status: Complete

    [Update Jun 30, 4 AM GMT]: This issue is now resolved.

    [Update Jun 23, 12.30 PM GMT]: The pending jobs are completed. We are monitoring the system now.

    [Update Jun 23, 11 AM GMT]: The team tried a fix, and the #designs in pending status have reduced from 700 to 70. However, initial monitoring reveals the system is still unstable, and not restored to normalcy. And the team is looking for a better fix.

    Incident description: Designs published from Trimble Business Center or WorksManager don’t reach the field devices. The WorksManager designs page displays amber icons against the designs indicating a delay. There are >700 designs in pending status.

    Cause: One of the underlying services serving this functionality has an issue, and is broken. Yet to identify the root cause.

    Fix: The team is looking into it. Cause/ fix analysis is in progress.

    SLM Licenser är en äldre licens typ (sedan 90-talet), som inte kommer att stödjas längre från Trimble från och med 2024. 

    Det finns nu istället Named User licens, där man loggar in med Trimble ID och password.

    Därför rekommenderar vi att man redan i år migrerar till den nya lösningen, för att undvika problemen i framtiden. 

    Fördelar:

    • Snabb och smidig inloggning
    • Kontroll över alla licenser genom My products Trimble ID
    • Fält licens: Jobba offline upp till 30 dagar kontinuerligt.
    • Flexibilitet: Licensen är inte kopplad till någon specifik dator (MAC-adress).

    Geosuite EAP v1.0.0 är redo att laddas ned från eap.geosuite.se.
    Feedback kan ges fram till och med den 25:e juni.
    Denna första version har framförallt syftet att testa det nya grundkonceptet i nya Presentation, med en ny informationsmodell och lagring och logik i molnet. Detta kommer att testas bara genom att ni som EAP-testare använder den nya desktopklienten som ni laddar ned.
    Har du inte fått mailet nedan så är din anmälan sannolikt en av dem som inte var korrekt TrimbleId, som ska vara en mailadress. Skicka då din korrekta Trimble Id till eap.geosuite@trimble.com så lägger vi till dig i listan över deltagare.

    Hello TBC users! We are pleased to announce that Trimble Business Center (TBC) version 5.90 is now available for download. 

    TBC version 5.90 emphasizes features and functionality that automate tasks, simplify data processing and better connect actionable information to project team members, stakeholders and communities.

  • Slowness in accessing TCC and IBSS

    Status: Complete

    This issue was resolved later on the 26th of May, and we were monitoring this until today.

    Design failures/pending jobs are almost complete, except a very few that will be completed once the live traffic gets reduced.

    This issue is now resolved. We are looking at the design sync failures/pending jobs if any to re-run them.

    Description
    : We are experiencing slowness in accessing TCC. TCC and IBSS applications are impacted due to this. There is also an impact on the design sync. The team is actively analyzing the issue. We will keep this page updated once the problem is resolved.  Regret inconvenience.

  • Trimble Access 2023.01 released

    Trimble Access 2023.01 has been released on May 22, 2023.

    This release addresses some reported issues, full details are available in the Release Notes update.

  • Geosuite Kick off Information meeting

    Today (16nth of May 2023) Anders Rosenqvist af Åkershult, Product Manager for Geosuite, held the Kick Off Information meeting for the Early Access Program for Geosuite Presentation. 
    A heartfelt thank you to all of you registered in this event and sharing your questions.

    Status: Complete

    [Update 18th May, 8 AM GMT] This issue is now resolved.

    [Update 12th May, 6 AM GMT] Issue on device processing slowness is resolved. We will be monitoring this.

    Description: There is an issue in the 'position messages' processing in the system. This reflects as incorrect values in the 'last reported' column in account > devices and project > devices pages. The team is actively analyzing the issue.

    Geosuite, as integral part of Trimble and Novapoint, has participated in Trimble's Norwegian Userdays held on 25th-27nth of April 2023 in Trondheim.
    We would like to thank all of you for joining us.

  • Issue publishing designs, and downloading work orders

    Status: Complete

    The data fix for all failed designs is completed now.

    The data fix is running now for already failed designs, and its 50% complete now.

    [Update 5/02, 12:00 PM GMT]
    The issue is fixed. We are monitoring  the system now. We are also looking at providing a data fix for the designs that were published earlier.

    We observe an issue where the system fails when the user publishes a designs and download a work order, post the maintenance activity we had on Saturday.

    The issue specifically occurs when when the file name has special characters. As a workaround, pls consider having no special characters in filename until a fix is given.

    The team is looking into the issue. We will keep this page updated once the problem is resolved.  Regret inconvenience.

  • Data management for geotechnical field surveys-Geological Survey of Sweden (SGU)

    Trimble's Geosuite group participates as an adviser in the project  on data management for geotechnical investigations. Every geotechnical investigation consists of data that need to be shared and managed among actors.
    The work that has been started is preparatory work with the aim of establishing a national database for geotechnical information. Lantmäteriet is the coordinator and Sweden's Geological Survey (SGU) will be responsible for the data and specifications. The Swedish Geotechnical Institute (SGI) is the administrative authority for geotechnical and environmental issues and acts in the project as a partner and contributes specialist expertise in geotechnical engineering.
