I am a GIS Specialist for the National Park Service, Alaska Regional Office in Anchorage Alaska.
B.S degree from Michigan Tech, 1984, M.S degree from UA Anchorage, 2000 on Exit Glacier.
Alaska resident since 1984, worked in various federal agencies, USFS, NOAA NMFS, and NPS. Parks that I have worked in include Isle Royale, Katmai, Lake Clark, Yukon Charley, and have been working as a GIS specialist in the Alaska Regional Office of the National Park Service, Anchorage Alaska since 1992.
Trimble certified trainer (MGIS) since 2002, and act as the GPS coordinator for Alaska National Parks. My specialties include coordinate system and datum handling to ease the often confusion between GIS and Surveying industries.
