Since yesterday the server from north america has presented a series of failures on visualization and georeferencing IFC models. This is STRONGLY disturbing our team work.

Does anyone know what is happening and if is there any prevision of normalization?

Thanks,
Aline

Hey Aline.
Can you please check and confirm if your problem is related to the model/file "Position settings" in the 3D Viewer (TC for browser)?
Here is the link to the user manual: https://docs.3d.connect.trimble.com/models/aligning-3d-models

On Friday I reported a (same?) problem to the TC support team:
The position settings are normally 0,0,0 (x,y,z), but on Thusrsday/Friday the coordinates have been set randomly by Trimble Connect.
Thus, the model files are moved randomly (x,y,z). Some files are not moved, thus all files have to be checked...
You can fix this manually, just (re-)set the Position setting (normally to be 0,0,0).
Please check and confirm.

Darshan and Ole Christian, thanks for the feedback.

Yes, the problem is with Trimble Connect. I just checked and it persists.

About position settings, my question is: would I have to fix this every time I open a model from now on? We didn't have to do it before. The models we have are already georeferenced and we need to open it exactly as we received it.

Is this an update of the platform?

Thank you,

Aline

Hello, Darshan!

I just checked and the problem wasn't solved.

Not only did it not open all the models in the same place but the ones that did, have a failed preview.

There would be a direct contact with support?

Thanks,

Aline

Hi Aline,

You need to clear browser cache to solve this quickly. (It will fix itself with time as cache is renewed.)
There's a lock symbol in front of the url in your browser. Click that.
Then select Cookies.
Finally select 3d.connect.trimble.com and click "Remove".
Then refresh the browser window (F5).

Hopefully this helps.

Best regards,
