Last week my 4 receivers started producing data from 1996.
The data indicated that it was logged in 1996.
This is happening to all my receivers.
Is anyone experiencing the same problem?
All these 4700, 5700 require having firmware 2.32 or higher to work
Yes this is my new pain. I have 10x5700 with similar issue, all with version 2.25.
The 4700/4800s can cannot be updated , thus they no longer can log good data. All data will need to be massaged after it is collected....
Indeed the owners of 4700/4800 need to download and install the FIXDATWEEK installer and run it with their data to fix their date.
The resolution to this GPS week problem for Trimble 5800 / 5700 is to install the latest firmware. Minimum requirement is FW 2.32. For Trimble 4700 / 4800, the firmware can't be upgraded. However, there is a Trimble tool (FIXDATWEEK) to fix DAT files for the GPS week issue, posted on trimble.com (4700: Trimble - Support, 4800:Trimble - Support).
