Currently running Realworks 10.3.2 with AMD Ryzen 7 1800X. Have been experiencing blue screens and crashes frequently (especially on larger projects).
In the latest release notes for 10.4 and 10.4.2 states "Warning: AMD Ryzen processors are not supported at this time."
Does this mean 10.4 is less compatible with AMD than previous versions or merely acknowledging that realworks and AMD have compatibility issues?
Also, any chance of building in an Autosave function into RealWorks at predefined time intervals? This would be quiet helpful for obvious reasons related to above
Hi Fabrice
My system has a Ryzen 7 1800X CPU and an AMD Radeon PRO WX 7100 GPU.
I still have "BSOD". There is no correlation between Geforce and Ryzen.
To be honest I'm very disappointed that this has not been resolved. How Hard Can it be?
Do you guys not test your program with new hardware???? We pay maintenance after all.
We pay a Premium for your product and expect it to work.
In your documentation when be bought the Scanner and Software it stated it works with any processor.
Hi Quintin,
We are currently working on issues with the AMD Ryzen Threadripper (1950X). The CPU is coupled with graphics from Nvidia GeForce 1080Ti.
We had lot of BSOD (blue screens, like other Ryzen/GeForce users) during 3 weeks, due to conflicts between Nvidia and Windows. It seems to works better but we are not sure that the configuration is stable enough (need a better graphics driver ? Windows patch to come ?). The final solution is not really in our hands.
We hope that TRW will be available for this configuration for the next release.
Best regards.
