Is there any way to organize surfaces similarly to how you can organize layers into groups? Thanks!
I don't believe so. Surfaces are just organized alphabetically in the Project Explorer and View Filter Manager. This could be something we could consider adding to TBC. Are there common workflows or projects you use where you have so many surfaces they need to be subdivided?
Yes. At the moment I do this by naming the surfaces beginning with e.g. Original, Design with a date or Work in Progress with a date. So grouping by surface classification would help.
Thanks for the reply Adam. Yes I do have a number of surfaces and it would be handy to group them like you can the layers.
Currently I am working on a large site broken up into a number of phases. Each phase requires regular topo's for progress reports, cut/fill maps, etc. It has become quite the list and I hate that I can't organize those..maybe I've got a bit of OCD, haha.
It would be a nice addition for my day-to-day.
