Where do I upload fxl files so they sync to the systems files folder on my TSC3?
I would be happy to take a look into this issue for you. Would you mind sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and putting ATTN: Katie in the subject and I will grab it and we can work through this.
I think I worked it out but not sure about the whole set up with TCC yet.
I created a folder called system files within the project folder and it seem to upload
I shall email you soon
Here is the logic used with Trimble accesssync
Downloading to the controller
Downloading from connect to a controller:1. Files that contain the word 'common' in the directory or file name are diverted to /TrimbleData/Common on the controller regardless of file extension.2. Files with these extensions:'cdg' 'csd' 'csw' 'ddf' 'dat' 'fal' 'fcl' 'fxl' 'ggf' 'ini' 'ixl' 'jot' 'log' 'mcd' 'pgf' 'pjg' 'rtd' 'sgf' 'sss' 'sty' 'xsl'are downloaded to /Trimble Data/System files/ no matter what directory they came from.3. .xml files are also downloaded to /Trimble Data/System files/ unless they are LandXML fileswhich we detect by looking for the following schema reference inside the XML file:xmlns=" http://www.landxml.org/schema/LandXML4. All other files are downloaded to /Trimble Data/<user>/<project>/For files downloaded from tcc to a controller:1. The above four rules apply. and2. 'to the field', 'to all users', 'System files' and '<user>' directories are removed from the filepath. Only files in '<user>/to the field', 'to all users' and 'System files' directories aredownloadable.Uploading from a controller:For files uploaded from the controller to tcc1. 'Trimble Data' is removed from the file path.2. Files from /Trimble Data/System files/ are uploaded to <user>/From <serial>/System Files/3. All other files are uploaded to <user>/From <serial>/For files uploaded from the controller to connect1. 'Trimble Data', '<user>' and '<project>' directories are removed from the file path.2. Files that contain 'common/' in the path name and have the extension:'csv', 'map', 'dfn', 'idx' have '_<user>' added to the file name before the file extension.3. All files are uploaded with the same directory structure on Connect but obviously with'Trimble Data', '<user>' and '<project>' missing.
Note that the Trimble connect and Trimble Connected Community (TCC) cloud spaces are treated differently.
I am not sure which cloud platform you are using.
I do recommend using Trimble Connect rather than TCC.
Thanks for this I am using TCC but trying to move to Connect now. I only sync Job files/csv/shae/dxf currently.
Should the job subfolders sync that contain scan data dn images?
I have successfully tested using accesssync for uploading scan data to trimble connect
You will need to select to synchronise the subfolders
