Recently we've started working with TBC, since we've bought an SX10.
After my first scan, and trying manage the pointclouds, I've decided to buy a new laptop. Although my previous one was a pretty robust, fast machine, I assumed that the multiple crashes (at least 10 every hour) had to do with my hardware. Now I have a very fine laptop-workstation (win10 pro 1803 - i7-7820HQ 2.90hz - 32GB memory - NVidia Quadro P3000 with 6GB dedicated memory).
What has changed? Well, the pointclouds load a lot faster, but the crashes, although less frequent, remain. I can't predict when they happen, but it always happens when I open a new function, like draw a polyline, create an orthophoto, etc. TBC just freezes.
Anyone else experiencing this kind of annoyance?
info: TBC 4.10 advanced (with all the updates), win10 pro 1803 - my previous laptop had win7 pro - my colleague has also a win7 pro laptop and is getting nuts...
