Reading R2 Bluetooth Coordiantes into Custom Android Application

Question asked by Guest on Oct 24, 2018

Hi, we currently have a custom android application which uses FusedLocationProvider to get coordinates from the device and place some markers on a map based on the users position.  The problem is that the build in GPS isn't accurate enough and we would like a more accurate option.  I can't find a ton of information about getting GPS coordinates from an R2, I was wondering what would be required if we went that way.  For example if we were to turn on Mock Locations and connect the R2 to GNSS Status application would the custom Android app automatically start to return the R2 coordinates?  If not are there any samples out there on how to set this up that someone could point me to?
