yesterday we had problems with TC Desktop. The application has frozen and the only solution was working offline. Task Manager showed memory at almost 100% (screenshot below)
Today Desktop works much better. Is it a know bug?
Trimble Connect Desktop can use quite a lot of memory, when model is loaded first time. during the first load the model is converted to be more suitable for viewing and that conversion takes a bit extra memory. That extra memory should be released after the model is loaded.
In you image situation I'm assuming that you have activated the view in todo and that you did not have that model loaded yet.
thank you for your response. The problem is that this model wasn't load first time.
Today TC Desktop works fine, but yesterday worked so slowly. What does it depend on?
TC Desktop speed can vary as the project data is synced from the server that can cause some issues.
Also, if another model is being assimilated at the same time.
Other running software can also cause some slow moments, if Windows needs to organize memory and move some data to disc.
