Trimble Connect Web Application and API Not Synchronised

Hi - I am using Trimble Connect through the web platform and through the Trimble Connect APIs. I am finding that the data between the two is not being synchronised (i.e. a deleted project is still showing up in the API and two new projects are not showing up in the API). Why is there this disconnect? How can I synchronise the web application and the API?
