TBC 5.1v Locks-Up during export.
After the export dialog opens, the software freezes up causing me to use the task manager to close the program.
Has any one else ran into this issue? If so, please let me know if there is a solution.
I just tried a Surface only and a Surface + Linework file and neither locked up TBC for me - what settings have you enabled in the export before the lock up occurs? i.e. what version of GCS900, and the other associated settings as shown here
So it sounds like an installation problem to me rather than an application problem - I would try deinstallation, running the Cleanup Utility and then re installing and see whether that works or not. Unless a specific set of settings above is triggering this which is of course possible, but I will need the settings, and likely also your project to look at to see if there is anything specific to the data or your setup that is causing this (Project Settings is possible as a cause here). I just used the default US Survey Foot Project - maybe your Project template has some setting that is triggering this in some way - can you try the basic US Survey Foot Template as well?

I have not seen this personally but if you can give me any more detail I can take a look
I don't think it's project specific since I have been able to re-create in a new file.
In the new file, I dragged in a ttm and a dxf file - then saved the tbc file.
Open the export dialog box and pick on "Machine Job Site Design exporter" - which causes the issue.
I have to open task manager, end TBC / delete the lock file. Go back to TBC, open the file and open export
dialog, which always seems to work on the second try.
I will try that next week to see if I can recreate the same way

Hey Alan, I have been having the same issue on 2 different computers and on any project.
As soon as you click on Machine Job Site Exporter it freezes. Usually works within trying a couple times of opening and freezing. Ill try to uninstall, clean and re install.
I had someone else report this and a full deinstall, run Cleanup Utility and reinstall cleared their issue - try that and let me know how you get on - I am on PTO right now and can do little from where I am - I will be back on 23rd of this month. If this is an issue raise it with your dealer and have them work it with our support team - I hope the reinstall works like it did last time
