Would like to know if anyone has used WMS on Access 2019 in conjunction with Google Maps or Google Earth satellite views? If so can you share your URL parameters?
Hi Ross, it depends in which state you are. I use WMS URL for Denmark to be able to use local coordinate system. Found parameters through local state Geographic office. Try googling free of charge WMS services and which coordinate systems they support (mostly WGS84, UTM plus the local one). Managed to get Open street map on the controller but not Google Maps.
Yes, you can use a lot of different WMS maps. Some country provides aerial images, topographic maps... I use it on the background, it helps me to make sure I cover all the areas I needed to capture but also some time to double-check I got all the features I needed and much more.
But what are you wanting to do with it?
Which region are you? I might already have it somewhere.
Hello, I am in Colorado and have not used this before. Now being asked if there is a WMS for this area, any help or instruction is appreciated. Thank you
I found the info I was looking for. Thumbs Up!
First time attempting to use WMS on TSC7. I've read up on the tutorials and WMS appears helpful but I have not had much luck getting it to work. Any help finding URL parameters for California (specifically central valley) would be greatly appreciated.
I have not used any of these personally however you might find something useful in one of the following links:

Thanks for the info James, the link you sent for the Map Services provided by the California Dept of Fish & Wildlife looks promising. I successfully tested the CDFW map service within ArcGIS so I know it works but I can't get it to work properly within Trimble Access (2020.01). I added the web map service to TA and the test completed successfully but the Active Map only generates solid black squares across the display screen. I'm thinking the problem may be with choosing the correct coordinate system within the TA job to match the coordinate system of the map service. I'll keep working at it.
