We currently use TerraSync for our data collection as our end user requires this as part of there QA procedure, is there anyway to use TerraFlex and get an sff and cor file from the software?

Hi Tom
Thanks that’s what I thought you might say. No worries no a major deal I believe the end user will eventually move to Flex however they are a national organisation with multiple contractors so it may just take them awhile to do so ☺

Hi Chris
Terraflex doesn't use the *.SSF or *.Cor file format but now we've introduced the ability to post process with Trimble Positions Desktop 10.7.1.1 - it does log raw GNSS data.
This data is bundled in with the proprietary files formats (*.tfin/*.tfout) used in the post processing workflow
If your customer is required to keep a physical back up of the GNSS session data, then they can store these formats (*.tfin/*.tfout) as part of their QA procedure, which would be equivalent to the *.ssf.
There's no equivalent *.cor as the corrected positions are applied directly to the ESRI geodatabase, BUT If they stored the gdb, the base data and the processing report, they would have a complete back up of the session.
In terms of QA - Terraflex has 14 different QA Autofields you can have added to your form template PLUS all the usual GNSS QA data associated with a Trimble Positions post processing session so you have more than enough metadata for QA/QC fulfillment.
So In summary:
