Does Anyone know how to get the As-Staked Reports in TBC to work? each time we try to use it we get an error message.
You didn't give a lot of details but the points had to come in in a .job file and have been as-staked points in the field for that report to work. If it that is the case and still doesn't work reinstall TBC or do the modify repair option in "uninstall programs in windows. A little hidden gem in TBC that for some reason Trimble hides is the "Points to surface results" report. Doesn't give xy deltas but does give delta elevation of any point to a surface. Great for dirt work as-builts and proving depth of utilities installed and the point doesn't have to be an as-staked point. Saves the crew from having to do a "stake out to a DTM" in the field which complicates the field work. To activate that report option you have to go to report options and set it to "appear in report list". Not sure why Trimble thinks this is an unimportant report. It should by default be in the list in my opinion. Hope this makes your workday a little better.
See this post by another user for the complete error message:
We have been working on this issue, unfortunately we were not able to include this in the patch but there will be a fix for this in the upcoming months. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused.

Months!!??? We have contractors asking for this data. Is there a work around?
We looked for a workaround and there doesn't seem to be any, but you could revert back to 5.10 and create your as-staked report on that version of TBC.

We have a customer project that they applied ALTA solutions. However we degraded to v5.1 and opened the project, it would crash down and show below error. The project was processed on v5.2 so there might be the reason for getting this error. Do you have any recommendation how to figure out that problem?
Could you try holding "Ctrl + Shift" and dragging the .vce to the empty 5.10 project ?
Let me know if this works,
One work around that might work for you is the Point Comparison Report. This report can be ran if you have both the design and as-build location in TBC. You can than adjust the search & tolerance settings in the report options, Select all design and as-build points and run the report. Depending on the data you might have to be selective or run a few different parameters but this will generate a horizontal and vertical delta sheet that you could pull data from and or customize.
