I was able to download TBC after IT opened up the firewall a bit for me.  Thank you for your help.

Not yet, Trimble.com is accessible, but this site they are directing me to isn't.  I am working with IT to get access.  I do not have an older version installed.

Did you reach the downloads page? I was able to access it just now. If you have an older version installed, you can also click Support > Check for Updates on the ribbon.

Hi Titus,

There are very few softwares in which you can open a file created in the latest version with an older version. This is because each new version introduces objects and/or properties that the older version cannot recognize. A few programs offer a command to save a file for an older version, but this is rare. 

There is a workaround, however, that you can probably use (at your own risk) to open a 5.10 file in TBC 5.00.

1. Open a new, blank project in TBC 5.00.
2. Press Control + Shift, and click-and-drag your 5.10 VCE file onto the graphics area.
3. Drop the file. It should open, ignoring any newer objects and properties in the file.

Cannot download TBC 5.10 keeps coming up with "This site can't be reached"

Projects that where saved under version 5.10 cannot be opend with version 5.00!
I think, this should have been mentioned in the release notes!

Pay Attention! Save your settings before installing the update. I lost my setting from version 5.0 and now I have to reset the options manualy.
