TCH v 3.1 is now available in the Microsoft Store and can be downloaded on your Trimble XR10 and HoloLens 2 devices.
What is new/updated in this release?
Object Linked ToDos: Users can now create and attach a ToDo to a specific object/entity at a specific xyz location on a model using object links, visible on HoloLens and in web/desktop clients. This gives the ability to tie ToDos to the object instead of the overall project; users can visualize and consume ToDos that belong to a specific model within a project.
Download Models Offsite || Access and Launch Models directly from the local drive in low bandwidth conditions. Users can now pick models and download them locally to the device, reducing the need for high-bandwidth downloads onsite. User can browse all previously downloaded models in a single location, organized by project without the need for navigating folder structures.
QR Code: New and improved UI to scan QR codes for login.
Birds-Eye model minimum size changed: Users can now scale their models, while in 'Birds-Eye' mode, to a much smaller size
Spatial Map is continually built within the model viewer.
Trimble Connect Web/Desktop model alignment settings reflected in TCH for models.

Important Note: Due to significant changes in functionality between HoloLens 1 and 2, all releases of Trimble Connect for HoloLens v 3.0 onwards are developed exclusively for Microsoft HoloLens 2 and Trimble XR10 with HoloLens 2. New versions will not be backwards compatible with Microsoft HoloLens 1.
