When creating new linework, I frequently find that the layer that I want to use is currently not selected as visible, as indicated by the yellow dot next to the layer name in the layer drop down menu.  It would be a big time-saver if that yellow dot could function as an on-off toggle button for that layer, instead of having to search back through the list in the View Filter Manager to turn that layer on.  Perhaps toggle between a green dot to indicate the layer is visible and a yellow dot to indicate not visible?
