Google earth file to Quantm

    Hello,

    I was wondering if anyone knows how to export a file from Google earth and import it to Quantm?

    Hello Adam, 

    You can export both lines, polygons and alignments from Google Earth Pro in KMZ/KML file format and import it to Quantm using "import GIS/CAD data" or "import alignment".

    Hello,

    Thank you for the answer. I do run into a problem when importing it.

    a) When using Import GIS/CAD data i do get the layers that i have added in the google earth but i can not see it in Quantm.

    b) Or when i use import alignment instead the program crashes.

    The reason you can't see the files in Quantm is because the project and the files are in different coordinate reference systems. I recommend that you use the other example-project from the community page. This project use crs UTM32 and will be the same as the files exported from google earth pro.
