We've been using Trimble's Pathfinder Office (for years) to download, post-process, and export data that is acquired by our small fleet of Trimble receivers (GeoXH, Juno5, R2 using TerraSync).
This year, however, our Trimble rep would not accept annual software maintenance for Pathfinder Office stating that Trimble is longer supporting the software.
If this is true, will our current/latest software version (5.90?) and license continue to work for years to come?
I realize the field data business model has evolved to cloud-based subscriptions but our Pathfinder Office education license has been excellent for classroom environments and without it our Trimble receivers/data loggers will likely become very expensive doorstops.
I would appreciate any information that you can provide on how long we can expect to use Pathfinder Office and TerraSync acquisition software with our Trimble receivers and data loggers.
