After working with a customer in a PenMap training recently, he brought up a piece of functionality that would be great to have in PenMap. It would be nice to have a running length of a linear iFeature while in collection. He is a former TerraSync user and really loved that functionality. Unless I am missing something, there is no way to do this currently. I know that you can start and close a line, add GIS record/edit GIS record, and see the length in the information tab. It's a lot of taps to do that when you need a running total of length as you are going on. Would it be possible to add a running length at the bottom center of the map screen while in active line/polygon iFeature collection?
