Reference Horizontal Alignment

Terramodel used to allow you to create a horizontal alignment based on a referenced alignment. Case in point, you have a CL alignment and you want to create alignments for NB and SB lanes that are referenced to the CL. Does TBC do this? I recall somewhere that it does not.

You can kinda sort of get there by using reference lines in the corridor and inserting instructions off them but it is still not the same or as good as it was in Terramodel because you can not use different stationing on the reference lines.  I completely agree that Terramodel was superior in this regard.  We frequently have divided highways with different NB SB alignments and stations.  I also used it extensively for retaining walls as they always have their own stationing too.

Usually I see a baseline that has two (2) vertical alignments.  Those two VAL can be reference inside the corridor.  Then in turn you would offset those nodes.  If this is something close I go into detail.
