    Hi everyone,

    An update on the RTX issues some users are experiencing with the TDC650. We continue to make progress on a resolution and while we have improvements in test we do not yet have a solution ready to share. We will provide updates in this thread as soon as we have them. Once again we apologise for the inconvenience this causes.

    Updated 20 December 2022.

    We have identified the problems causing RTX to fail, and there are two separate issues, one with RTX delivered by satellite, and one with RTX delivered over a network via IP, e.g. cellular.

    1. RTX over Satellite
      This issue has been addressed by our software teams. For non-Field Maps users this should result in a working RTX solution. We plan to release this fix in January 2023. 
    2. RTX over IP
      This issue has been identified and addressed. We plan to release a firmware update with this fix in January 2023.

    A note for Esri ArcGIS Field Maps users:

    Until both issues are resolved Field Maps users will not be able to utilise Trimble RTX.


    Any users currently experiencing these issues should contact their Trimble partner for assistance.

    The issues described in this thread have been resolved. Users experiencing RTX issues with the TDC650 should update to firmware v4.33 using Trimble Installation Manager, and should update Trimble Mobile Manager to version 3.0.5.1366 through the Google Play Store.
    Please contact your Trimble Partner for assistance if needed.
