TDC650 camera direction

I have a customer that wants to have position information stored with photos take on the TDC650.  I have found the setting on the camera app to store location (lat/long) but is there a way to have it store cardinal direction?  North South ect...?

    Doug,

What software is your customer using? I know that the default Android camera app can do some basic watermarking including location and perhaps the heading/bearing. The issue would be the accuracy of that position and bearing.

They are using ESRI Field Maps

I would have them check the Android Camera app settings and see if you can enable the location and compass watermark on the photos. I am not sure that it can do that, as I don't have my 650 on me. There are also several free apps that can do this but I am not sure if ESRI Field Maps can choose to use those apps versus the camera app built into the Android OS.

I got on mine and in the camera app you can store location in pics, but doesn't seem to save direction
