Transferring Pathfinder Office 5.6 Licence

    Hi, I'm the IT tech at our place with no experience of Pathfinder Office. We have a single license which needs to be transferred to another installation desktop.
    When I put in the old license into the new install we get the error message below.
    Pathfinder version install is 5.6. Any help appreciated, my input into this is that I have the administrator account to install on the desktop.

    Chris, you just need to reach out to your distributor. They can submit a deactivation through the Support portal at Trimble. If you are not able to reach them, shoot me your installation code and I will take care of it for you.

    Hi Zach,
    By chance, do you know how much longer you will be able to deactivate / reactivate Pathfinder Office licenses?  I just saw in a September 2022 Support Note that any Proof of Purchase Numbers must be registered by the end of October...  Our products are all registered, but we are ordering new computers & will need to move some licenses around. 
    (Our sales rep is currently looking for the answer- just thought I'd see if you already knew!)  Thanks.

    With the end of life of the Pathfinder Office & TerraSync software we have simplified the process so customers can manage the license move themselves and have removed the need to get their Reseller or Trimble to Deactivate the software.

    Customers can transfer the license themselves simply by activating a valid install code on a new device/PC.

    Good question Lane! 

    Offline/Manual Activations will require Reseller & Trimble assistance.

    If a customer is required to install PFO via an Offline Activation, the Reseller will need to make a request to the MGIS Support team to provide a compatible code. 
    The Support team will also want to know who it is for (which organization needs it).
