We've started having issues too. Tried all the things mentioned in this thread to no avail. We are running an R2 and the latest version of field maps. Our fieldworker indicated that when he downloaded the most recent version of TMM he started having issues. Specifically that Field Maps and TMM are kicking back and forth to each other and the R2 is becoming disconnected. He'll open TMM, make sure it's connected to satellites, then go into Field Maps and connect to the unit, and it'll connect, then kick him to TMM and be disconnected and then when he goes back into Field Maps, it's disconnected.
We've tried all the simple troubleshooting like forgetting the device in the Bluetooth settings, signing out and back in, deleting and re-installing the apps. This is happening on an iPhone and a Samsung Tablet. I'm pretty confident our R2 firmware is updated.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. We have not reached out to our Trimble Rep just yet.

The release of Trimble Mobile Manager 3.0, with improved geodetic support, was announced today. Esri ArcGIS Field Maps users should note that the improved positional accuracy will become available in Field Maps in a later release from Esri. Users of the new version of TMM will receive positions in Field Maps based on the geodetic library present in TMM 2.9.5.
