Hi Kevin
The first 4 character of the .t04 file name is the last 4 digits of the serial number of the antenna.
Then the following 3 character are the day number of the year and the last character is the file number.
E.g. The file name is 08981300.T04
0898 is the antenna serial number
130 is 9th of May (US time)
0 is the first file I created on that day
Cheers

Subject: Trimble T04 file naming convention
Thanks for the reply. (And I am not sure that I am in the correct forum...) But, whenever a receiver creates a .T04 file on the TSC7 controller, it give the files names such as
00330190.T04
00333624.T04
etc
And my recollection is that the digits at the end represent the day of the Julian calendar in some way that the file was created...

I cannot remember Trimble's "formula" for naming the T04 files... As I recall the first part of the filename refers to the receiver S/N and the second part of the filename refers to the day of the year or something like that.
Can anyone refresh my memory?
Thanks very much,
