    Dear WorksManager, here is the prototype for view, download, and upload any/ all Machine Data. Pls. take a look, & share your comments/ feedback if any

    View & download Machine Data


    Upload Machine Data



    Sync from the field, and use

    You should be able to sync the files added from WorksManager when its ready. 

    Folder & File types

    You will be access (view, download and upload) any/ all files from \EarthworksData folder for Earthworks, and \Machine Control Data for GCS, and PCS.  Sample files include .machine, .zsnap, .patch for Earthworks, .mch, .dsp, .mas for GCS, and .persist for PCS

    Note: The feature will be released first for download by the end of June, and then for upload in July

    I like it.

    Please consider adding:
    • a search bar here for quicker navigation to a specific file(s)
    • ability to sort by all column headers

    Also what about options to:
    • delete (high priority)
      • would be nice to be able to delete more than one file at a time. This has always bugged me with TCC
      • zsnaps are always a pain to remove because there is 3-4 files (.png, .txt, .zsnap) per zsnap x however many zsnaps may have been taken to resolve a problem. 
    • rename file (high priority)
    • move (low priority)
      • multiple files
      • could accomplish with a download and upload
    • copy (low priority)
      • multiple files
      • could accomplish with a download and upload

    Pat, thank you for the prompt response, & feedback as always :) Search is already present in the backlog; adding sort, and delete functionalities now.

    Here is the order of priority, and implementation
    1. View, and download machine data
    2. Upload machine data
    3. Sort & search
    4. Delete

    I will consider others, when these are done.

    I think it's good.

    I'd like to add to the accessible file types
    Earthworks machine productivity data(.tag)
    GCS/PCS/CCS900 machine productivity data(.tag)
    It would be helpful to be able to quickly upload and download these files as well!
    Currently, when we want to retrieve Earthworks machine productivity data (.tag), we use a remote to transfer backup files and retrieve the .tag files.
    This is very time consuming and terribly inconvenient!

    Hi Vijay.
    Nice summary and I agree with what Patrick has already added. One other useful feature would be to use Ctrl and Shift type functionality to select multiple files at once. Being that you hit the + button, supporting Ctrl doesn't matter here but saying Shift by itself might not have made sense...

    1. View & download GCS machine data is already there in the product. 
    2. View & download machine data should be available this week 
    3. Upload machine data work is in progress...
