Hey TBC’ers! Have you ever been uncertain about which mouse controls to use to navigate the view in TBC? For instance, you want to learn how to pan the view, zoom in and out, and rotate the view. This week’s tip will give an overview of the basic controls you can use to suit your needs.

- Click-and-drag the mouse wheel (2D)
- Click-and-drag the right mouse button (2D + 3D)
|
Zoom in/out
|

Zoom in to a certain area
|
- Press Ctrl + Alt + click-and-drag around an area
|
Zoom to the extents of your data
|
- Double-click the mouse wheel
|
Rotate (2D)
|
- Press Ctrl + Shift + click-and-drag the mouse wheel in the direction you want to specify as "up"
|
Rotate all directions (3D)
|
- Press Ctrl + click-and-drag the right mouse button
- Click-and-drag the mouse wheel
|
Rotate horizontally only (3D)
|
- Press Shift + rotate the mouse wheel
|
Rotate vertically only (3D)
|
- Press Ctrl + rotate the mouse wheel
|
Exaggerate vertically (3D)
|
- Press Ctrl + Shift + rotate the mouse wheel
|
