By Hannah Poon posted 05-06-2022 13:35

Hey TBC’ers! Have you ever wanted to view the panoramic images of the Station closest to a point picked on a mobile mapping run? The Go to Run Position command enables you to view the panoramic images of a camera from the station position closest to the point picked on a run.

Follow the steps below to learn how to view the images of the Station closest to the point picked on a run.

  • In the Project Explorer, select a run (or a set of runs). Select Toggle Active Trajectory in the context menu (or in the View section of the Mobile Mapping tab in the TBC ribbon).

  • The Plan View then shows the trajectory(ies) of the selected run(s), each with a specific color.

  • Select Go to Run Position in Mobile Mapping > View. The Go to Run Position command appears.

  • Pick a position on the displayed trajectory of the selected run.

  • The Run View tab opens and shows the images (panorama) of the Station closest to the position picked on the run. The Go To Run Position dialog shows the name of the run that has been picked as well as the timestamp.

  • To view the Plan View tab on top of the Panoramic View tab, right-click the Panoramic View tab and select New Horizontal Tab Group
