TBC Power Hour Recordings

It can be useful sometimes to improve TMC 2D display performance or for Restricted Area vessel outlines to use a 2D Vessel Countour instead of the full 3D model of the vessel.

To do this quickly without any manual entry:

1. Open the 3D model in Sketchup
2. Set the Camera view to Parallel Projection
3. Change view to be from the top, select the model and export 2D Graphic as DXF
4. Repeat for left and rear camera views.
5. In TMC create a new Vessel Contour and Edit
6. In the Vessel Contour editor click in the 'Top' pane to make it Active then use the Import from DXF to select the top view created from Sketchup
7. Repeat for the Left and Back panes
8. Use SHIFT +Left Mouse on gripper to move the model onto a different origin if required
9. Save on exit
