External Battery Location

    The battery cable I received with my Catalyst DA-1 is 12” long, which means that the USB battery pack has to located at the top of the survey pole, which seems problematic to me.

     

    Can anyone tell me where they have located their external battery pack and if the 12” cable is the correct length?. It seems to me that having the battery pack lower on the pole would be easier to use, rather than a few inches under the antenna.

    The cable length is correct for the pack out.  The battery should be facing with the plug down in the mount.  See Step #2 from the online help guide.
