Google Earth / Maps markup to Sketchup.

    I've been trying to markup lines, paths or polygons in Google Earth or Google Maps and then import these into Sketchup.

    .kmz import pops up the error message every time in Sketchup

    Is there a way of marking up in Google Earth or Maps and then importing this markup layer into Sketchup?

    I'll be really pleased if someone can help and the 4hrs I've just spent trying to work this out won't feel wasted!!
