SketchUp Layout files in Trimble Connect (no viewer?)

    Am I right that Trimble Connect has support and viewers for PDF files and PPT/PPTX presentations (for viewing, annotation, tasks), but not for SketchUp Layout files?

    No viewer supported for selected file(s)

    P.S. not even talking about full support, allowing downloading/uploading from LO and linking to SU models in Trimble Connect.

    Hello Dmitry,

     

    Thanks for posting on our Trimble Connect community site. Trimble Connect 3D viewer support SketchUp model and also support 2D viewer for PDF, PPT and PPTX file formats. We are not yet support the SketchUp Layout file in the viewer but file can be uploaded and stored on Trimble Connect project.

    Are you aware of any plans to add SU Layout support? Looks logical for a Trimble product, to avoid exporting to PDF and re-upload for any commenting/revision collaboration.

    We have this enhancement request in our backlog but no specific timeline of when this feature will be available in Trimble Connect at this stage. We will keep you posted and please let us know if you have any other questions and/or feedback.
