Quadri for Windows is replacing the legacy product Novapoint Base as it is known in Novapoint 19 - Novapoint 21.

NEW: Support for AutoCAD 2021 products

ENHANCEMENT: Dialogs have been improved to handle 4K display resolution and scaling in Windows.

FIXED: Quadri Import of roadmodel files could produce linetasks without geometry. This could stop/crash the share process to the Quadri Server.

FIXED: Quadri Import of roadmodel files could place the linetasks and terrain sections inside other folders or imports. Now they are located on the same level in the Process Tree as the import itself.

ENHANCEMENT: Better logic to connect the correct alignments as surface edge if the GUID fails or is not correct.

ENHANCEMENT: Some roadmodel gets corrupted after a crash. New method for handling the DMI-file to avoid it being corrupt in the future and to avoid sharing a corrupt DMI to the server.

ENHANCEMENT: Cut features are now produced with numbers in featurename that correspond with the materialtypenumber (1-25) that are used on the subsurface task.

ENHANCEMENT: Removed 1mm-surfaces outside the road surface boundary.
Example: Set a boundary on the right side to the shoulder surface. You would still see 1mm-surfaces for ditch, rockcut, soilcut etc.

ENHANCEMENT: When building the roadmodel we are now purging the list of alignment used in the model so that they do not clutter the model when sending to 3rd Party software.

FIXED: 3D results could disappear when a model ended in a bridge/tunnel and the model calculated twice because of dynamic alignments.

FIXED: Alignment as surface edge was not followed correctly when the road alignment was in an exact east-west direction.

FIXED: Rockcut could end up as soilcut when there was a mix of overlapping subsurfaces to consider.

FIXED: Issues with interpreting subsurface layers interpolation where many surfaces overlap eachother.

FIXED: Errorcode 101 due to selfoverlapping pavement layers did not produce any results to Quadri for the roadmodel.

FIXED: Roadmodel could crash in some circumstances.

FIXED: Slope method 0 inside detailed pavement did not always work when used in the pavement layers.

FIXED: Upgrade from NP20 to NP21 did not set the correct median radio-button for Base course 3 and Sub-base course 3.

FIXED: Cases where selecting a specific alignment as surface edge didn't work in the Road Surface description.

FIXED: Issues or crash in roadmodel building and Sight Analysis because of error in rounding of start/end chainage on the road task to closest 1mm could fail in some circumstances.

FIXED: Sight Distance Analysis failed in sections where Landscaping was in use.

REMOVED: Columns for “Minimum Width” in the advanced Terrain Boundaries function as it is no longer in use. Search width left/right is enough.

ENHANCEMENT/FIXED: There could be some cases where there were a bigger mismatch between the Excel Report and Table View.

ENHANCEMENT: Cases of slow Quantity Reports.

FIXED: Roadtask without an alignment (ex. roadtask created directly from received DMI/DMR) would crash. Now it produces a report, but only the summary report.

FIXED: Units in Summary sheet for Rock < 1m said m2 for all the values, while some are actually m3. Units are now properly listed for each row.

ENHANCEMENT: Selecting any illustration object will show what task it is related to in the dialog.

ENHANCEMENT: Innerslope surface was filtered away when overlapping with f.ex. the fillslope roadsurface.

FIXED: The Viewer could crash when jumping back and forth between cross-sections.

FIXED: Naming of the closed ditches could be switched. Also sorted so that the naming better correspond with what we find in the dialogs for Closed Ditch and the Settings.

FIXED: Cleanup of the pavement layers could be wrong and confuse the user. NOTE: The 3D results in Quadri has always been correct regardless of this.

ENHANCEMENT: Improved the vertical window by removing the noise caused by linestrings in crossing roads or other tasks.

ENHANCEMENT: Partially fixed fixation has been placed in the middle of the element since NP21.FP4 to avoid errors when changing fixation logics.
It has turned out to be an irritation and we have now changed it back, but improved it. Also set the old style as default.
Users can switch between the two methods in the Alignment Design Options dialog.

FIXED: Picking a line and arc that has offset in CAD will apply a clothoid between them instead of a straight line.

FIXED: Terrainsetup based on rehabilitation function in road pavement was slow.

FIXED: Pressing SaveOnly+SaveOnly+Cancel would lead to corrupt vertical alignment data.

FIXED: Alignment Design could state that a geometry was NOT OK even when it was OK.

FIXED: “CB not OK” could be stated in the dialog even when calculation basis was OK for the Linetask.

FIXED: Pressing ESC while in a Skype videochat could terminate the chat session.

ENHANCEMENT: Draw Road model - Contourlines now have the option to select specific surfaces to draw contourlines on.

ENHANCEMENT: Draw Cross-sections also draws the section frames for better understanding of why the roadmodel section is suddenly cut.
(By default the layers in CAD are set to frozen and no-plot)

FIXED: Draw Horizontal Geometry dialog crashed when using User-Defined styles.

FIXED: Draw Road model - Elevation Annotations did not remember number of decimals when updating with NCO in the drawing.

FIXED: Draw Road model - Property Boundaries could be a zigzag line in curves when using roundings in the cross-section calculations.

REMOVED: Draw Road model - Pavement thickness option is removed as it caused some issues and because it no longer has data to draw.

FIXED: Draw Cross-sections did not draw mass hatches on all selected cross-sections.

FIXED: Draw Cross-sections with Design objects or illustration objects that gets clipped by the “frame” would dissappear. Now they are not clipped at all instead.

FIXED: Draw Cross-sections to PDF could crash in some circumstances.

FIXED: Draw Cross-sections did not correctly position the roadmodel in some circumstances.

FIXED: Draw Terrain Cross-sections - Could not to press Draw after changing drawing style configuration.

FIXED: Drawing Style Configuration - Could not select to draw based on NP21+ surfacenumbering (ex. 1.01). Only old numbering was available (1.1). Now all should be fixed.
